Five Questions with
a Camp Simcha Hero

Jordana is a life-long resident of New York City who grew up on the upper west side of Manhattan. She is always on the go and is pursuing a degree in interior design while maintaining a busy schedule in the field of architectural sales.  Jordana’s passion is evident as she has run six races in five years and proudly emphasizes that she was one of the organization's first 25 runners. Fortunately for Jordana, she does not need to travel far to share the excitement of Team Lifeline – her husband of 1 -1/2 years is also on the team.  Surprisingly, Jordana does not consider herself a runner, yet found enough inspiration from friend Adam Kaplan, who said “if you can run three miles, you can run thirteen”…

TL: What was the leading motivation for joining Team Lifeline?
JM: Running for an amazing cause and doing something that was “different” back then.

TL: How much money have you raised for the children of Chai Lifeline?
JM: Tens of thousands through me, my husband and the many people we have recruited!

TL: Is there anything unexpected you’ve experienced from your Team Lifeline involvement?
JM: I never thought I would be so committed to a cause.

TL: What do you consider the most rewarding aspect of Team Lifeline?
JM: Helping the kids!  Being a part of the largest charity group in a marathon and spending the weekend with teammates who all share the same goal…and, of course, finishing a half marathon.

TL: Do you maintain relationships with anyone from Camp Simcha or Team Lifeline races?
JM: Yes, fellow Team Lifeline runners.
