I will be spending the next few months training to run a half-marathon this winter. On January 25, 2009, I will be running the ING Miami Half Marathon. However, the purpose of my running is not only for the personal accomplishment of completing a 13.1 mile run. More importantly, I am training in order to raise money for Chai Lifeline, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families.

Chai Lifeline is an international organization that provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 3,000 children and their families every year. Through two-dozen free programs and services that touch each member of the family, Chai Lifeline helps children with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses and their families live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness.
I am running this race on behalf of the philanthropic effort of our beta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi. I extend my thanks to anyone who donated to my fellow brothers Josh Nason and Justin Cohen who last year successfully ran and raised $7200 to help Chai Lifeline.
All donations are 100% tax deductible. Please contribute, by visiting my personal Team Lifeline Website at (http://www.teamlifeline.org/mypage.php?myid=55311 ).
Or you can also donate by sending a check to

Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
