This summer i worked in Camp Simcha Special. I was afraid because i didn't know what to expect. I asked for a young camper and they gave me a teenager. This made me even more afraid. Then i met Peri. she was a sweet funny sensitive girl who kept me on my feet. I loved hanging out with her and couldn't tear myself away from her even to just take a break. In those short two weeks Peri changed my life. She taught me there are no limits and you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to. Walking for Peri takes all of her energy and yet last year in the marathon she walked 1400 steps. I cried when i saw the videos. We trained in camp she would push herself to walk whenever she had time, sometimes missing some of her favorite activities. This year her goal is to walk a mile. My goal is to be there right beside her cheering her on. Please help me reach that goal!!
