As you may know, our older siblings, Goldie and Daniel have both run the Miami Half Marathon for the children of Chai Lifeline. They’ve got nothing on us, and our goal is to run faster and raise even more money than they did. While they’re currently serving in the IDF, we are training hard and running regularly in Modiin and Emek Bet Shan, in preparation for Race Day, which is Sunday, February 9th.
After seeing our father work for Chai Lifeline for so many years we want to take part in this amazing project and also be able to help. We are running this 13.1 mile half marathon for the kids of Chai Lifeline - an amazing organization for kids with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Knowing that we have a chance to help these kids made it important for us to join forces, however, we can’t do it alone and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $10,000 combined, and while this is a significant challenge to take on, it certainly pales in comparison to the daily battles these kids face.
Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 5,800 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Personally, our favorite program is Camp Simcha, which enables more than 500 seriously ill children to have a real summer camp experience while under the medical supervision of doctors and nurses.
If the children of Chai Lifeline are able to fight every day and go through hospital treatments and stays then we are able to help them and make this journey better and easier for them. We can’t do this without your support, and that is why we need you to press on the donate button right now so that we can raise as much money as possible for the children of Chai Lifeline and put smiles on their faces. Let’s do this together! Let’s make dreams come true.
