Let's help sick kids!!

Last August, I met the most amazing, wonderful and talented woman, none other than Sara Werb. On our first date, she mentioned how she's training for a half-marathon to support of very sick kids through the Chai Lifeline charity. Being a macho, but actually very interested, I promised her that if she finished the half-marathon I would run next year. She finished the half-marathon and now we're BOTH running.

I was crazy but when I went down to Miami I really truly understood why Chai Lifeline is so special and important. They provide year-round emotional, social AND financial support to over 5,800 (!!!) of families with sick children.

I witnessed how their programs and activities changed families, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. On top of that, they run TWO AWESOME Camps, offering nearly 500 kids a chance to FORGET about illness and just be KIDS again. It's truly remarkeable.

Now, I'm starting to train to and it's not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But YOUR support is needed to reach my goal. PLEASE, donate what you can and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true.

BTW, here's a picture of the present Sara got after finishing the present. But please view some of the videos of children of Chai Lifeline and how your donation goes a LONG way!!
