"Faced with crisis, the man of character falls back on himself. He imposes his own stamp of action, takes responsibility for it, makes it his own." Charles de Gaulle
It’s that time of year again. Only it’s not. In so many ways it’s not. We have all gone through our own personal journeys that can’t compare to anyone else’s. Nothing is really the same but everything is the same. This is a time that we could have never imagined. But we have had to pivot, adjust, move forward and figure it out.
It has also been challenging for all the organizations that support us. With limited funds, staff and volunteers Team Lifeline has done some amazing this throughout the pandemic. Aside from the regular work they do all of the sudden ALL CHILDREN HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY ILLNESS. This team has been working hard delivering care packages, bringing food to hospitals, supporting families, giving respite to parents. Illness does not pause for pandemic.
I know you do not have as much to give this year as last year. I really hope that you even have enough for yourself and your family. But I have to ask, if there is something you can share to help support Chai Lifeline please considering giving, even just a little bit. Can I count on your help this year?
