Dear Friends,
After two years, the Miami Marathon is on again and I am pumped!! Yes, I am training, this time to run the full Marathon in Miami, this coming February, as part of Team Lifeline. Chai Lifeline became a big part of our lives when our son Noam was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. They supported us in so many ways through a very tough time, bringing a smile to Noam’s face as he gave the fight of his life. Thank G, Noam is currently feeling well. He is stable, but his fight is not over. To this day, Chai Lifeline remains at our side.
So I’m doing this to help give back to this incredible organization that has done so much for my family and for many other sick children and their families. Running a is a personal challenge, but I’m not in this just for the glory. I’m running for something important. However, I can’t do it alone. This is why I am turning to you for help.
Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,500 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special. Every year these two camps offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again.
Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If my son Noam and the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, visit my page, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true!
