This February, Bruce and I will be running in the Miami Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar we raise and every mile we run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
We have experienced firsthand how amazing this charity can be. When Bruce was sick, chai lifeline would bring him meals in the hospital, and vegetables weekly to our door at home so we could eat healthy. In the summertime they would send our family on trips, and Bruce to Camp simcha. They did this so that Bruce could live like a normal healthy kid. Chai Lifeline was such a positive beacon of light in both of our childhoods.
Our family did not seek out Chai Lifeline they found us, and they were always there to help us with anything we needed. Chai Lifeline is willing to help any sick child and their family through their dark times. That is why we want to run this marathon, and for every dollar we raise we want it to go to a family just like ours. We want children to be able to experience a childhood as close to normal as they can.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 but we need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join us in supporting this important organization by contributing to our team page.
