Hello Friend,
After my last half, I swore to tie up my running shoes and retire them for a bit. But looks like I lied, again. Because I just signed up for my 4th, (yes, fourth) half marathon!
Today (July 7th) is my dear father in law's 6th Yurtzeit and I'm doing this in his memory! I'm doing this for all the children who are fighting for their lives and all the children that have unfortunately lost their battle to disease.
This February I will be running with the one and only TEAM LIFELINE!
Team Lifeline benefits children with cancer, disabilities and other serious medical conditions. I have seen first hand, the smiles and happiness on these childrens' faces! The excitement to be able to attend Camp Simcha and forget about their illnesses for a bit. While I know that running all those miles (13.1, to be exact) will be challenging, I also know that every dollar I raise will help raise awareness and funds for such an important and worthy cause. But I need your help! Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
