This will be my 5th year running for Team Lifeline. While the past four marathons I’ve run with Team Lifeline have been incredible, this one means the most to me. This year, I will be running in memory of our beloved friend, Cammy Marks a”h.

Cammy didn’t like being called inspirational, although she was truly an inspiration to us all. She battled cancer for years, but looking at her, you would never know. She never complained, never let her illness get in the way of accomplishing her goals. She always chose to smile and live her life to its fullest.

Cammy passed away right before Covid last year on Shabbos, March 7th, 2020. We were there with her in the hospital. We spent those final hours singing Shabbos songs and reminiscing about her favorite memories from Camp Simcha and all the other fun times made possible by Chai Lifeline. She passed away surrounded by the people who loved her.

Every donation you make enables Chai Lifeline to continue providing emotional, social, and financial support for families dealing with pediatric illness. Chai Lifeline runs countless programs, including Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, all free of charge. Chai Lifeline’s mission is to bring joy and hope to these families, to help them live full lives as they fight the devastating impact of pediatric illness.

Please donate L’ilui Nishmas Ariella Yehudit bas Shmuel (Cammy)

Thank you,
Elisheva
