I am running in Memory of My Son “Jonathan” He had a dream for "Camp Simcha" and the children.

When we first heard those three words, “YOU HAVE CANCER,” we never could have imagined what was to follow. The trajectory of a life is forever altered by those three loaded words.

You may already know that I’m training to run in the Lifetime Miami Marathon this January. Running a is a personal challenge, but I’m not in this for the glory, but to follow Jonathan’s dream for him. I’m running for something important. I am running to raise money for Chai Lifeline, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families. I heard about this and I had to do something. However, I know I can’t do it alone. I need your HELP.

A quote from Jonathan’s sister, Michelle.

“Today we unveiled my little brother’s tombstone. It’s surreal ad I can’t process many words to say about it, but this: be grateful for the people you have in your life. Don’t take for it granted when you’re lucky enough to speak with your brothers and sisters. Some of us don’t have that luxury. If I want to take a picture with my brother, the best I can do is to go to his resting place and take one with his stone. If this is not your reality, please just know how lucky that makes you. Rest in Peace, Jonathan Michael. Miss, you, every damn day Kid! #forever 23.”

Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make DREAM come true.

Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,500 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change

Without Camp Simcha, Jonathan would not have served nor would our small family. Had a dream and this was to provide and help building a super cyber/virtual/game room for Camp Simcha. Why, because of all the children, he wanted more, for the kids of all ages. He asked me if he could adopt one of the campers. Jonathan was a fun loving young man, intelligent, a team player, compassionate, sincere, and working towards the future and planning for his dream for a game room dream and if others asked for would help. Jonathan was able to have adult conversations with small children, older, his own age group, the counselors at the Camp Simcha. But Jonathan could speak with very wise men and still ride the wave and participate in these conversations.
their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special. Every year these two camps offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To get a better idea of what Chai Lifeline does for families, please watch the videos below. I know they will touch your heart the way they touched mine.

Cherish and take care of what you value. Happiness is Fragile.
Appreciate every moment and everything you can to protect it!!

Thank you for you support in my endevor and from the bottom of my Heart!
