Orly Klapholz

Fifteen years ago, I graduated 8th grade from a small school called Abrams Hebrew Academy in Yardley, PA. Sadly, one member of our Abrams class did not walk with us at graduation. Tali had been battling cancer for several years, and the summer before 8th grade, she died. Tali Twersky had a deep impact on my life - she is the reason I began volunteering with Chai Lifeline in high school and I think about her often.

Now with children of my own, I especially think about the struggle that families must go through as well as the strength they must have to battle childhood illness. I therefore decided that for my 30th birthday this year, I would train to run the Miami half marathon with Team Lifeline to raise 5000 dollars for Camp Simcha in memory of Tali.

I'm hoping you'll help me reach my fundraising goal in her memory and put smiles on the faces of sick children.

Thank you for your continued support!
