You may already know that my friend and I are training to run in the Lifeline Miami Marathon this January. For Chai Lifeline the organization that helps those in need while suffering from extremely difficult medical situations. If you do not know who they are just google and you will cry, you will smile and you will be in awe

These children instead of growing up having a happy, carefree childhood. Their days are filled with pain, isolation, treatments, and the knowledge of “I can’t do this” and “I can’t do that.” Not a great way to go through the first two decades of life. Chai Lifeline steps in and becomes a literal “lifeline” to the patients and their entire family.

They have one of their special programs that give sick children the chance to escape the misery of illnesses: a summer vacation at Camp Simcha or Camp Simcha Special. I would like to tell you personally about the dedication and creativity the staff gives to have this amazing life experience that is so out of the world. My brother Hershela attended camp a few years ago and is always dreaming and talking about that place, a place that sounds like heaven on earth. The activities and whole summer was a high point which has never been outdone. My brother still looks at his albums all the time and his huge smile lights up his face. He watches the dvds (perhaps a million times) and the simcha that shows through out his body his smile, his clapping, his dancing within his chair is a sight to see the simcha Camp Simcha Special gave him that summer.
There is not another camp out there who has been able to accommodate his medical and physical needs accepting him for who he is and have that one on one support.

I am running this marathon with my friend for my brother and all other Hershelas in this world, by running this Team Lifeline I plan to raise over $3,600 and I hope you will help me reach this goal by making a small tax-deductible donation. Your support is a critical part of this effort and I know that together we can make a difference to these children. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and Team Lifeline website makes donations quick, easy and secure.

The Team Lifeline website are easy to use and making a donation will only take a minute, so please my personal web page at Team Lifeline site https://www.teamlifeline.org/team-lifeline-Miami/RuchelaDembicer today. You can also send a check, made payable to Chai Lifeline, to me at 1303 53rd Street PO#215 Brooklyn, NY 11219. If your company has a matching gift program, your gift may be doubled or tripled. If you send the paperwork to me with your check, Chai Lifeline will complete the form and send it to your employer.

I look forward to keeping you informed of my progress as a runner.

Best Regards,
Ruchela Dembicer

P.S. I hope you will forward this to anyone you feel might be interested in supporting Chai Lifeline. Together we will make a difference.
