Last year when I signed up to run with Chai Lifeline, I said it’ll be my last half marathon. Ok, you got me, I lied! Well, maybe not entirely. I really did think it would be my last half marathon, since I had some injuries and running again wasn’t the greatest of ideas. But when I entered the Pre- Race party room the night before the run something changed. The energy, the happiness, the smiles and laughter on the faces of these children just got me thinking how they have to endure so much pain every day, and how can I not do my best in helping them forget about that pain for a few weeks by raising money for Camp Simcha? Every year Camp Simcha offers 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. So I laced up my sneakers and just ran with it! It’s what got me through the run, it’s what has kept me pushing for 13.1 miles in the scorching Miami heat, it’s what got me to that finish line! And here I am again, for the 3rd year! Because how can I not do this for these precious children?

Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true.

Thank you for your generosity! I am forever grateful!
