One more time! This time, with brother #3

Ok, I know, I said I wasn't doing this again.

I'm happy to say, I lied.

Ok, I didn't lie. I thought I was done. But something keeps drawing me back. Is it the pain of toenails getting tender and preparing to fall off? The early morning long runs? The evening exhausting short runs after work? The having to use random bathrooms 7 miles away from home? It is the shorts? Nah, none of that. It's the magic that is Chai Lifeline. This amazing organization is so unique, so special, that the energy of a Team Lifeline event is just infectious and addictive. You become part of the Team Lifeline family, and you experience the difference Chai Lifeline makes in the lives of so many. How can you not be a part of it?

For those that don't know, Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,500 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special. Every year these two camps offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To get a better idea of what Chai Lifeline does for families, please watch the videos below. I know they will touch your heart the way they touched mine.

This year will be special for me as well. Besides for being my third Team Lifeline run, and my second half-marathon, I'll be running alongside my big brother Ben, the only one of us who has yet to do a Team Lifeline event. And together, we will run in memory of our brother Daniel.

As you may know, our brother Daniel died of Neuroblastoma at only 15 months old, a couple of years before I came along. At that time, Chai Lifeline (chailifeline.org) did not exist to provide emotional, social and financial support for sick children and their families. Seeing the work Chai Lifeline does, it aches that my family didn't get the chance to experience the true magic, kindness, and support that this organization offers. We'd like to do our part to make sure that every family who unfortunately needs the support of this organization can get it to the fullest.

So one more time, I'm asking for your support. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help us put smiles on the faces of sick children.

Thanks so much!
Gabriel
