Hello Family and Friends,
As many of you know, I began this journey running with Team Lifeline five years ago, dedicating this endeavor in memory of my two beautiful Bubbies who passed away in 2016. The 5th yahrtzeit of Nancy Seplowitz Prague (affectionately known as Bubby Norwich) is upon us this week. Bubby Norwich had a warm, loving, and generous spirit, which she shared openly with her family, friends, and community. She loved children and Jewish causes, and it is only fitting to honor her memory with this dedication.
COVID-19 may be here, but pediatric illness has not gone away. So Team Lifeline is going virtual this year, with each participant running separately, in their own communities/locations, but with the same collective goal of helping Chai Lifeline continue to be there for families confronting illness and loss during these difficult times.
Chai Lifeline offers more than two-dozen year-round programs and services, including professional case management and counseling, transportation to medical appointments, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, emergency financial assistance, crisis intervention, insurance and medical advocacy, i-Shine afterschool programming, family events and retreats, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special medically-supervised summer programs, and so much more. All programs are provided free of charge thanks to generous supporters and friends like you.
We cannot allow this pandemic to stop us from helping children with life threatening and lifelong illnesses.
So in loving memory of Nesya bas Zev, my beloved Bubby Norwich, who was so devoted to causes such as this, I hope I, and the children of Chai Lifeline, can count on you! Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for your support!
With love and thanks,
