Let's do this together!
Leah Levene Gerendash
I'm so excited and honored to join Team Lifeline once again and run in support of Chai Lifeline, the Jewish community’s largest children’s health support network because, while COVID-19 may be here, pediatric illness has not gone away. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run in this virtual, socially distanced race will help Chai Lifeline continue to be there for these amazing kids, these Warriors, and their families as they confront illness and loss during these difficult times.
I've seen first hand as a counselor at Camp Simcha Special how Chai Lifeline changes the lives of these amazing Warriors and unwaveringly supports their families. Their programs and services include professional case management and counseling, transportation to medical appointments, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, emergency financial assistance, crisis intervention, insurance and medical advocacy, i-Shine afterschool programming, family events and retreats, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special medically-supervised summer programs, and so, so much more! All programs are provided free of charge thanks to generous supporters and friends like you.
We cannot allow this pandemic to stop us from helping children with life threatening and lifelong illnesses. These children are counting on us, and I hope I can count on you too. Please help me reach my goal and raise as much money as possible for these incredible kids. Your tax-deductible contribution will have a direct impact on lives dimmed by pediatric illness when they need it most. Together, we can make a difference to Chai Lifeline’s more than 5,900 children and families around the globe.
Thank you for your support!
