Team Double Trouble
In honor of our b'not mitzvah, we will be running with Team Lifeline, in support of Chai Lifeline, the Jewish community’s largest children’s health support network. While we are disappointed the race will not be in Miami, we are excited to participate in "Team Lifeline with Borders," the virtual edition of the race.
Because the race is virtual, we are hoping to share our experience of running and raising funds for Chai Lifeline with our friends. For as little as a $10 donation and pledge of walking or running just one mile, you can join our team--of course you can do more and the distance can be achieved over time. In a few months, when the time is right (and restrictions allow), we would like to invite our team to finish the last half mile around our neighborhood, complete with a finish line, medals, and swag!
Having grown up attending Team Lifeline events to cheer our mother and our brothers, we can tell you what an amazing feeling it is to support Chai Lifeline. Through the years, we have been fortunate to meet so many families that have benefited from Chai Lifeline.
Chai Lifeline offers more than two-dozen year-round programs and services, including professional case management and counseling, transportation to medical appointments, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, emergency financial assistance, crisis intervention, insurance and medical advocacy, i-Shine after-school programming, family events and retreats, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special medically-supervised summer programs, and so much more. All programs are provided free of charge thanks to generous supporters and friends like you.
Please help us reach our goal and raise as much money as possible for these incredible kids. Your tax-deductible contribution will have a direct impact on lives dimmed by pediatric illness when they need it most. Together, we can make a difference to Chai Lifeline’s more than 5,900 children and families around the globe.
Thank you for your support!
Best - Millie and Tessa
