Suprise! I'm back!
But I'm not totally crazy - I am training to walk the 10k in Las Vegas in November.
While Anny is away training to become a more independent young lady, I am making the time to help the organization that has given so much to Anny and our family. You may already know that I’m training to walk the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas this November. Walking is a personal challenge, but I’m not in this just for the glory. I’m walking for something important. I am walking to raise money for Chai Lifeline. However, I know I can’t do it alone. I need your help.
Chai Lifeline provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 5,800 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special. Every year these two camps offer nearly 500 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. And, not only do these kids get to go to camp, but a few lucky ones get to go to Israel with Wish at the Wall. I know, because Anny and I were lucky enough to be chosen to visit Israel in 2018. This trip was a bonding trip like no other. Memories of our hikes, singing, fun times and sad times will always be with us.
Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If young people like my amazing daughter Anny can deal with life and fight her numerous battles, I can do this small thing in her honor. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of the children who benefit from Chai Lifeline. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true.
Thank you for joining me in this crazy venture - Robyn
