This February, I will be running in the Miami Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions.
As many of you know, I ran this same run 14 years ago while I was deeply involved with Chai Lifeline and the work that they do. It has been many years, and while running all those miles will be challenging this time around, I am excited to do this with my friend. Her son was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and Chai Lifeline provided a lot of additional support for her and her family during that challenging time. She is running the Miami half marathon this year as a way to give back a little for all they have done for her family. I am running by her side to support her in her generous endeavor, and to celebrate her sons current good health.
My goal is to raise $5,000, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization, and my friend, by contributing to my personal runner page.
