We're back!!! This February, Azzi and I will be running in the Miami Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness. One of those families is mine. My brother Azzi was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a degenerative muscular disease, seven years ago. Ever since the diagnosis Chai Lifeline has been there to help. Whether Azzi's "big brother" taking him out on a Sunday afternoon, an uplifting shabbaton, or Chanukah presents for the family, the support is non stop! For the past 3 years Azzi has gone on Chai Lifelines unbelievable summer program, Camp Simcha. Azzi is bound to a wheelchair, but in Camp Simcha he can fly. In Camp Simcha there are no limitations, every kid feels like a superhero. Azzi looks forward to Camp Simcha all year. In those fun filled 2 weeks all your struggles are forgotten and you can do anything.

So please help me reach and exceed my goal. Every dollar gives Chai Lifeline the proper funding to provide all these amazing services.
