This February, I will once again be running in the Miami Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.

We got to experience firsthand, how they do this. Through the darkest period of our lives, Chai Lifeline was with us every step of the way. They did all they could for Zalman, to make him happy, to make him smile. Zalman LOVED Chai Lifeline and knowing someone from chai lifeline was on the way, always cheered him up.

Zalman loved Chai Lifline, in his memory we started the Zalman fund at chai lifeline.

Training is not easy, (especially winter time in Ontario, with the indoor running tracks shut down half the time!) but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, like Zalman did, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, we can do this for them.

I am forever indebted to Chai Lifeline for what they gave to Zalman and my family, join me in helping them, help other kids! But I can't do this without your support.
