This November I'm running the New York City Marathon (26.2 miles) in support of Chai Lifeline, a Jewish-affiliated nonprofit organization that supports families of children diagnosed with lifelong illnesses — offering critical programs, services, and support.
Chai Lifeline provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to more than 6,000 children and their families each year. Your donation would contribute towards counseling, case management, crisis and trauma intervention, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, insurance advocacy, afterschool programming, or medically-supervised summer camps.
I am running in memory of my cousin Janie Sharp, who lost her battle with terminal brain cancer at age 7. I’ve pledged to raise awareness and funds in support of Chai Lifeline. I would greatly appreciate your support in this experience!
Your generous donation will help me move closer to my goal and make a difference in the lives of so many children with pediatric illness. For every $20 donated, you can select a song for me to add to my "Race Day Playlist."
