This fall, I'll be running the New York City Marathon for the first time: 26.2 miles through one of the most incredible cities in the world. It will be the longest run of my life.

I started running seriously in July 2025, worked my way up to a half marathon, and now have my sights set on the full 26.2. Running has taught me what it means to push forward when things get hard and that's exactly why I chose to run for Chai Lifeline.

Chai Lifeline supports more than 10,000 kids and families each year who are facing the hardest thing imaginable — childhood illness. They show up in every way: counseling, meals, rides to appointments, insurance help, after-school programs, mentorship, and summer camps where sick kids actually get to be kids again. It's an extraordinary organization.

When training gets tough, I think about what these children go through every single day — hospital stays, treatments, uncertainty — and it puts everything in perspective. If they can keep fighting, I can keep going.

I've set a personal goal to raise $15,000 for Chai Lifeline, and I can't get there without you. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward giving these kids and their families a little more support, a little more hope, and a little more joy. Please consider giving — it truly means the world.

Best - Jeff
