Hi!!
This year I am going to be running in the Miami Marathon in memory of two truly incredible people, Adeena Paknoush Z’’l, and my father, Ebby Shaoolian Z”L. I am running to raise $5,000 for Chai Lifeline, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families and I would really appreciate everybody’s help to reach my goal!
My dad was the kindest, most amazing man I knew. He brightened every room with his radiating smile and had a positive impact on everyone he came into contact with. He could make everyone laugh with his amazing personality and taught me to look at every situation with light and positivity. He was the light of my life, my role model, and my best friend. I’m missing him with every ounce of by being every single day. So, to continue on his legacy, I am making it my mission to spread love, laughter, and positivity as he did with every step he took.
I didn’t personally know Adeena, but I know that she was such an amazing human being, as she had the ability to inspire and bring light to every situation. I truly believe that both of these beautiful souls came into this world for similar missions: to teach us all the importance of kindness and how to really care about the wellbeing of those around us. So, in their zechut, I have decided to run in the Miami Marathon for Chai Lifeline: Team Adeena. May all of everybody's support in completing our mission done in their honor help both of their amazing neshamot have an aliyah.
Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 5,800 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline’s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. To get a better idea of what Chai Lifeline does for families, please watch the videos below. I know they will touch your heart the way they touched mine.
