I will be running the Miami Half Marathon I"YH!

I am running to raise money to benefit Chai Lifeline, an organization that I feel very passionate about. Having been inspired by all the people that I have met as a volunteer over the last few years, I see firsthand how Chai Lifeline is so powerful in its ability to help children and their families physically and mentally while they are going through incredibly difficult times.

I will also be running in memory of Neomi Shitrit Azulai z"L and Kobi Periente z"L from Sderot Front Runners, Jewish runners just like me and many members of Team Lifeline. They were tragically murdered by terrorists on October 7th, while they were on their weekly long run. Killed just for being Jewish. Running communities have always been a place to foster togetherness, but the Jewish running community specifically over the last 2 months has been a place of comfort to me and many people, during a time where daily routines and activities, like running, often feel pointless and wrong. Many of our brothers and sisters in Israel don’t have the luxury of being able to run anymore and I will be running for them.

Running together as Jews on the world stage, we have an opportunity to show the world that despite all the hardships we face, the Jewish people are here to stay and we're here to be an example of light to the world. Our community will always rise to the occasion when we others are in need because the foundation of the Jewish people is built on a pillar of chessed.

It's impossible to see the magnitude of chessed that emanates from Chai Lifeline and not think "מי כעמך ישראל."

Please consider donating to my page.

_______

I’m running to raise awareness and critical funds for Chai Lifeline, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families.

Throughout the year, Chai Lifeline provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to more than 5,900 children and their families. Whether it’s counseling, case management, crisis and trauma intervention, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, insurance advocacy, i-Shine afterschool programming, Big Brothers and Sisters, or its medically-supervised Simcha summer camps, Chai Lifeline’s innovative services help families navigate the complexities of childhood illness and restore joy and happiness.

Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves through hospital stays and treatments, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. I’ve set a challenging goal for myself to raise $7,500 in support of Chai Lifeline. Your generous donation will help me move closer to my goal and make a difference in the lives of so many sick children. Let's do this together!
