This year I will be volunteering with Team Lifeline/ Chai Lifeline. It is an organization near and dear to my heart.
After working for Team Lifeline and,
Volunteering for Chai Lifeline I’ve formed many relationships with campers and families, many of whom unfortunately spend months on end in the hospital. The pain they share and the strength they show is beyond!! When I speak with them they all repeat the same thing: “I don’t know what I would do without Chai Lifeline/ Camp Simcha”. These campers have TWO weeks out of the WHOLE year to feel relief, joy, and distraction. I sincerely ask you from the bottom of my heart to join with me to bring a smile to these kids’ faces! TRUST ME IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT!!
We sometimes wish we can take away the person’s pain. We CAN’T do that- but we CAN bring them JOY!
