This January, I will be running in the Miami Marathon/Half-Marathon as part of Team Lifeline to benefit children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious medical conditions. Every dollar I raise and every mile I run will benefit Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network that provides critical year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 families confronting pediatric illness.
If you know me, you know I’m not exactly what you’d call a "natural runner." Think Phoebe from Friends: arms flailing, vibes high, form... questionable. I keep endlessly chasing that elusive runner’s high everyone talks about, but so far it's mostly just me, my playlists and audiobooks hoping for a breakthrough. Still, I’m determined, because making a difference is worth every mile.
Since joining Team Lifeline and running my first (and only) half-marathon in January of 2020, I have raised over $14,000. This year, I have recommited and my goal is to raise $7,500, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
