I’m taking on a challenge that’s close to my heart—completing a marathon in support of Chai Lifeline, an incredible organization that provides critical support to thousands of seriously ill children and their families.

This cause is so important to me because of how much this organization has impacted my life and helped my family. My brother was born with something called spina bifida and chai lifeline and camp simcha has played a huge part in my life since he was born. They were always there for us when we needed help with dinner and sending volunteers when my brother was in the hospital and really anything else we could need. and they never forget the siblings either. They always made sure we knew we where also loved and had what we needed. With all the programs and big siblings outings and camp simcha without borders we were always involved. Now that I am older I am able to give back by volunteering and being a counselor in camp simcha. While this half marathon is completely out of my comfort zone it is important to me to give back .
