It’s that time again—I’ve signed up for my 6th race with Team Lifeline, this time running the Miami Half Marathon 2027.
By now, you know my story. I started running back in 2018 after a challenge from my little brother Gavriel to take on a race and help support the kids of Team Lifeline. I agreed… and somehow kept going ever since.
These days, I’m still running in memory of my brother Daniel. In a way, that’s become part of what keeps me coming back each year—alongside seeing the continued impact of Chai Lifeline on the families I’ve come to know through this over the years. So I'm back for yet another race with Team Lifeline.
I’m hoping to raise $10,000, and continue building on what we’ve been able to accomplish together over the years.
You can make tax-deductible donations online at: teamlifeline.org/Miami27/BenPrero
Or by sending a check made out to Chai Lifeline to: 3506 Labyrinth Rd, Baltimore, MD 21215
I can’t stop running—not just because of the race itself, but because it’s become my way to turn miles into something that truly matters. And every year, I’m reminded how much impact this community can have when we all show up together.
