I'm gearing up for my 6th marathon for Chai Lifeline. If you're not familiar with them, Chai Lifeline is there for seriously ill children and their families in the most beautiful ways: counseling, meals, financial support, even a summer camp so these kids get to just be kids during the summer. I think about that a lot when I'm out training. Whatever's hard about my run that day is nothing next to what these families carry every single day. It keeps things in perspective, and it keeps me going. My goal this year is $18,000. It's ambitious, but I believe in it, because I've seen what this organization does with donations. If you're able to donate, it would mean so much to me. And more importantly, it would mean the world to a family who needs to know someone out there is thinking of them. Thank you, truly, for being part of this with me. Heather
