In February 2026, my wife and I were confronted with our 4-month-old son’s diagnosis. During his initial hospitalization, surgery, complications, and the ensuing 18 weeks of chemo, our world was changed forever. We are eternally grateful for the support of our community, friends, and family during that time as well as one of the organizations that really stepped up to support us in ways we can hardly put into words: Chai Lifeline.

During that challenging time, they did so much for us that allowed us to dedicate ourselves 100% to our son’s recovery and, BH, he is currently cancer free and will continue to undergo routine monitoring as he grows.

To help support Chai Lifeline’s truly amazing work, I’ll be completing a half marathon and raising funds so they can help many more families just like mine. I've set a goal to raise $3,600 (though I hope we raise even more beyond that) to help sustain the vital services Chai Lifeline offers, like case management, counseling, meal deliveries, on-site assistance, and so much more.
