If your are visiting this page, then you know that we have signed up to run the Miami half-marathon with Team Lifeline!! We? Yes, we!! Moshe will be running this year as well!!!! (Donate more for live proof! ;)) It is going to be AMAZING!!

Who is Chai Lifeline? Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 5,800 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special. Every year these two camps offer nearly 500 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again.

What does Chai Lifeline mean to us? Well that’s a toughie, Chai Lifeline is an organization that has been involved in Rivky’s life since she was a child and had a sick family member. Rivky remembers how they would send volunteers over to cheer everyone up, the smiles the volunteers would generate were unbelievable. The events they would have, were out of this world and would help ease the daily pain. Additionally, when Rivky’s friends mother was ill, Chai Lifeline ensured that the family had fresh meals every night for dinner.

One thing that sets Chai Lifeline apart is that not only do they care for the person who is sick, but they also ensure that the other family members have a less stressful experience. Currently, we have family that benefits from Chai Lifeline and there are no words to explain the relief the organization provides them.

Over the years Rivky have volunteered for Chai Lifeline in various capacities, as volunteer for Mid- Atlantic regions and as staff in Camp Simcha however doing this marathon is a way we can give back to the organization that did and continues to do so much for our family.

Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chai Lifeline can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, we can do this for them. But we can't do this without your support. We need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true.
