Once again, I will be running the Miami Marathon for Chai Lifeline this year. As I get older, this does not get any easier on me, but after visiting Camp Simcha last summer and seeing the joy it brings to these children, I knew that I must do all I can to help.
This year I am running L’iluy Nishmas (in memory of) a dear friend of mine, Hershy Gross. Hershy went with his family to his beloved Eretz Yisroel for the Yomim Tovim when, just as they arrived, he was suddenly taken from us. Hershy was full of chessed in everything he did, highlighted by the Chai Lifeline / Achim B’yachad weekends hosted with his in-laws (the Grunblatt’s) the past several years. Hershy ALWAYS had a smile on his face, so what better way to honor that memory then by helping to bring a smile to the faces of the children of Camp Simcha! Please go to my marathon page, teamlifeline.org/Miami24/avikatz , and sponsor my run.
My goal is to raise $10,000, but I need your help. Every donation is 100% tax deductible. Please join me in supporting this important organization by contributing to my personal runner page.
Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support - I know I can always count on my good friends, Avi
