This past year, I had the privilege of volunteering as a Big Sister with Chai Lifeline, and it has truly been life-changing. Being a Big Sister with Chai Lifeline has been an eye-opener. I've seen how a mom's illness affects the whole family, and how Chai Lifeline steps in to support them in every way. They're not just helping the person who's sick, Chai Lifeline is there for the kids, the spouse, everyone. The strength, resilience, and love I’ve witnessed from my Chai Lifeline “little sister” and her mom have inspired me in ways I can’t put into words.
When I run with Team Lifeline, I'm doing it for the families who need a little extra help and a lot of love. I’m running not only for them, but for every child and family struck by illness who fights every day with courage and hope. It's an honor to be part of this journey with them. I am proud to with Team Lifeline—so that no family ever has to face their challenges alone.
