Chai Lifeline is an incredible organization that provides critical support to thousands of seriously ill children and their families. Chai Lifeline was there for my family in our darkest time. When my niece Talya Zehava passed away at just 2 months old, our family was shattered in a way words can’t fully express. In the midst of unimaginable grief, this organization stepped in with open arms — offering support and compassion to my brother and his wife. Their kindness made a lasting impact, and now we have the chance to give back. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping other families in their darkest moments receive the same comfort, care, and hope that meant so much to ours. I am so honored to run in her memory.
I am also running in memory of my grandparents, Dr. Leon and Frances Gersten, whom the Chai Lifeline National Counseling Program is named for. My grandparents were always concerned with helping others. My grandfather founded Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center that was instrumental in providing counseling services to many Chai Lifeline families. Please donate generously to my campaign today in memory of my very special family members.
