When my mom and I crossed the finish line at the Miami Marathon in 2024, our first time, we turned to each other and said "this was a once in a lifetime experience and we have done it once." We both agreed that we would NEVER do it again but...

It's now 2026 and I have an amazing new goal to achieve in my life, and my Mom always supports me in trying to reach my goals.

By January 2027, I believe I will be a new and improved Paige after having had the first-ever SDR surgery in Ontario and going through extensive rehab. I have already noticed great improvements as the surgery took place mid-June. So, here we go again, back to Miami to do the Half Marathon. My Mom will be pushing me like last time but this time I am working towards a different finish. This time I want to walk the last mile on my own and cross that finish line independently for myself and Chai Lifeline Canada.

During the hospital and rehabilitation hospital stay, I realized just how much Chai Lifeline did for me as a child. Chai Lifeline Canada has been an important part of my journey and has provided me (and our family) with support and experiences that we would not have received if not for their commitment to children and their families with medical complexities and life-limiting illnesses.

Since my Mom is helping me to reach my physical goal, we need your help to achieve our fundraising one.
