Dear friend and family,

Ahuva was a delicious baby. Although she was only here with us for a short year and a half, her impact exceeds a lifetime. Her name, Ahuva, was her essence: She drew people close to her—once you met her, you didn’t want to leave. Ahuva’s neshama connected with the neshamos of those around her, as she spread love and was beloved to all. From her quirky smirks to her wacky hairstyles, she brought laughter and smiles to her visitors.

She was such a stubborn and determined little fighter. She just had to show the doctors that Hashem is really the One in charge and they are just His messengers. The amount of times that she surpassed the doctors’ expectations was incredible!

Ahuva also showed us the absolute greatness of Klal Yisroel while generating an extraordinary outpouring of chesed. We were introduced to so many exceptional people and organizations, which is why we are so proud to have Team Ahuva for Chai Lifeline.
Chai Lifeline was there for us even before Ahuva was born. Their dedication to each patient and his or her family is tireless. They think of everything—from Shabbos and Yom Tov food to Chanukah presents for the entire family! Every single person we encountered from Chai Lifeline is phenomenal. Each person takes the time to talk and listen, hear what is needed, and show true kindness along the way.
