My name is Shalom Gross, and I’m proud to be a staff member at Camp Simcha. My younger brother, Rafi, is also a Camp Simcha camper.

Ever since Rafi was born, Chai Lifeline has been there for me, my brother, and my entire family. They’ve supported us, brought us joy, and helped make difficult moments a little easier. Through Camp Simcha and all the incredible work Chai Lifeline does, I’ve seen firsthand the difference they make in the lives of children and families.

Now, it’s my turn to give back.

I’ve accepted the challenge of running the Miami Marathon with Team Lifeline, raising money to help Chai Lifeline continue providing the incredible support, programs, and experiences that mean so much to so many families.

Almost everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by Chai Lifeline or Camp Simcha. This is so much bigger than just a marathon—it’s about giving back to an organization that gives so much to others.
